There are plenty of places online where you can book a hotel, flight or holiday.

Unknown Travel Deals was created for a slightly different reason.

We want to help people discover the places, experiences and travel opportunities they might otherwise miss — while finding genuinely good value along the way.

Our journey begins in Ireland, but it certainly doesn't end there.

Unknown Travel Deals is an Irish travel platform created to connect travellers with interesting destinations, accommodation, experiences and offers both at home and overseas.

Ireland is a huge part of what we do.

There are outstanding independent hotels, resorts, restaurants, attractions and tourism businesses all over the country. Some are famous. Others are still waiting to be discovered.

We want to introduce our audience to both.

But Irish travellers don't only holiday in Ireland.

We travel to Britain for weekends and football matches. We escape to Spain and Portugal for sunshine. We explore European cities, visit America, head for Dubai and travel thousands of miles for adventures across Asia, Africa and Australia.

So Unknown Travel Deals is being built to follow Irish travellers wherever they want to go.

💡 A Different Approach to Travel Deals

The internet isn't exactly short of travel offers.

The problem is finding the good ones.

Anyone who has spent an evening jumping between hotel websites, airline websites, booking platforms and comparison sites knows how quickly "let's book a weekend away" can turn into two hours of opening browser tabs.

We want to make discovery easier.

Unknown Travel Deals will feature a mixture of opportunities sourced directly from hotels and tourism businesses alongside carefully selected travel offers and experiences available elsewhere.

Where we establish direct relationships with accommodation providers and travel businesses, we'll encourage them to provide meaningful offers for our audience.

It means we're not interested in filling the website simply for the sake of having thousands of "deals".

We'd rather show you something interesting.

One of our ambitions is to develop lasting relationships with hotels and travel businesses rather than relying entirely on what's already circulating around the internet.

Why?

Because sometimes the people best placed to create an excellent hotel deal are the people running the hotel.

We're talking to accommodation providers and tourism businesses about promoting their properties and creating offers specifically designed to attract travellers.

For businesses, that creates another way to reach potential customers.

For travellers, it means another place to discover opportunities.

Unknown Travel Deals is not a travel agent, and we don't pretend that every offer we feature has magically appeared from nowhere.

The modern travel industry doesn't work like that.

Offers may come directly from hotels and tourism businesses, tour operators, booking companies or other third-party travel providers. Some links may also be affiliate links, which means we may receive a commission if somebody makes a purchase after following them.

Where appropriate, we'll make this clear.

What matters to us is whether something represents an interesting opportunity for our visitors.

Our aim is simple: find it, explain it and let you decide whether it's right for you.
